New rates of petrol, and diesel in the metro cities

On Saturday the central government announced a cut of Rs 8 and Rs 6 on the excise duty of petrol and diesel.

Affected State: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai

Effective from today May 22,

In Delhi
The petrol price was Rs 105.41, today decreased to Rs 96.72 and for diesel, the price was Rs 96.67 and today the price decreased to Rs 89.62

In Mumbai
The petrol price was Rs 120.51, today decreased to Rs 111.35 and for diesel, the price was Rs 104.77 and today the price decreased to Rs 97.28

In Kolkata
The petrol price was Rs 115.12, today decreased to Rs 106.03 and for diesel, the price was Rs 99.83 and today the price decreased to Rs 82.76

In Chennai
The petrol price was Rs 110.85, today decreased to Rs 102.63 and for diesel, the price was Rs 100.94 and today the price decreased to Rs 94.24

According to the center’s decision by the cut in excise duty we see reduce in petrol and diesel prices by Rs 9.5 liter in petrol and by Rs 7 liter in diesel.
